Award Time!

I guess since we just watched the Academy Awards, we are all in the mood for awards. I'd like to thank my favorite blogger out there, Jenn at Tatertotsandjello for nominating me for the "Love Ya Blog Award!" Jenn has a very creative blog, lots of fun fashion ideas, decorating and yummy recipes!
"The Love Ya Blog Award"~ These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose five more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.

Thanks for thinking of me Jenn and I'd like to pass this award onto:

1. Kate at Welcome to the Jungle
2. Jackie at The Achter Five
3. Tedi at The Palmers
4. Jamie at Pineapple and Olives
5. Anna at Our Family Blog

Thanks for posting fun things on your blogs, I love keeping up w/you and your families!!! Have a great day!

Edward!!!

I traveled home to visit my family in January. As most of my friends know, I'm a huge fan of the Twilight Series and loved the movie. Well I guess my sister and neices were paying attention too, this is how I was met at the John Wayne Airport!!!

If you can't see it, there is a sign around Edward's neck that says, "I love Chrissy Ladd"! Did I happen to mention that my flight came in at 10pm on a Friday night? If that doesn't say love, then I don't know what does!!!
Thanks Brittany, Taylor and Lexie....You're the BEST!!!!

"Clean" Valentine Projects!

This Valentine's: "Let's Keep it CLEAN!"
I made these cute heart-day sanitizers. It was soooo easy, fast and cheap. Honestly, like 5 minutes to complete all three bottles!

I purchased Target Brand Hand Sanitizer $.99 each. You can make them using soap containers as well, but I like the clear look. Make sure you purchase bottles that have sticker labels, not ones printed on the bottles.

The hardest part of this project was peeling the sticker off. These Target ones came off pretty easy from the front and back. If you have any sticky residue left, use Goo Gone. I didn't even need it for these bottles.

I then picked up some cute Valentine stickers at the Scrapbook store and rubbed them in place. Like I said, very easy, fast and inexpensive. I may have to make these for every holiday!!! Click on photo below for a closer look! Sorry, I'm still working on my photography skills!
